From October 23rd to 28th, 'ε2021, the Boccia competition of the 1 1th Paralympic Games and the 8t<→↔h Special Olympic Games were held in th→≈e gymnasium (sub-Gymnasium) of Xi'an North₩"∑'west University. The Boccia players compete ™®↑₹while seated in wheelchairs. The Co∑∑∞mpetition is divided into singles, doubles,Ω±×× and team competitions. There ar ∏e seven different groups based on f€φunctional classification.∏ Male and female athletes in each group can comp₩∑ete together. In singles and doubles, each game h→≈•∑as four innings, each player of singles throws©÷>® six balls in each inning, and each player of ε"images throws three balls (ea♦φch team throws six balls); Theλλre are six sets in the team₹ ☆ competition, and three players of eac§ ✘h team throw two balls in each group (6 for ea♣φ€ch team). The red ball holder >® throws first, and the score is scored according t ↑o the distance from the pi ≈↔tched ball to the center ball. The player wi☆™≤←th the highest cumulative↕♣↓¥ score wins.
