The Goalball competition of the 11th National Games for Perso↑ ≠™ns with Disabilities and the 8th Specialσ•​ Olympic Games were held on October 22^nd to 28^th in the Chang'an District gymnasium ♥&γ₽of Xi'an Northwest Univ↔≥→↕ersity. Goalball competition is a team spor§<σ↔t. The length of the couσ‌rt is 19 meters, and Ωε✔≠the width is 9 meters. σ♣There are two 9-meter-long goals and three athle&↔‍​tes from both sides. There are✔♠ bells in the ball that make a sound. Blind and Ω×★visually impaired athletes wear¶×​∞ two layers of eye masks (soft eye mask ☆‍ and eye shield) during ∞↑γ∞the Competition. They cannot see and mustγ>♦ judge the ball's direction by he∞$✘±aring. They succeeded by holding the ball like₩φ₽ a football goalkeeper when it was thrown.
